AMSOIL Engine Flush: In
a new motor, with less than 20,000 miles, it is not necessary to
flush engine. Engines with more than 20,000 miles, it is highly
recommended to use AMSOIL Engine Flush if you have been running
petroleum oil. What AMSOIL Engine Flush will do is remove the varnish
and sludge deposits from the engine. Even if you have been changing
the petroleum oil on a regular 3000 or 5000 mile interval, varnish
will still accumulate in the engine. If AMSOIL Engine Flush is
not used before using your AMSOIL Engine Oil, the AMSOIL Engine
Oil will remove deposits from your engine, but the deposits will
remain in your oil thus reducing the life of the oil.
When you are ready to flush your engine, pour in one can of AMSOIL
Engine Flush for every 4 to 6 quarts of engine oil capacity. Let
the engine idle for about twenty minutes. For high mileage engines,
you may want to increase idle time to thirty minutes and a slight
increase in rpm’s will help circulate the oil more quickly
and helping to dissolve heavy sludge and varnish deposits. Do Not
Drive vehicle with AMSOIL Engine Flush in the engine. Drain the
oil and remove the old oil filter. Install an AMSOIL Oil Filter
and you are ready to pour in some AMSOIL Engine Oil.
Do Not use AMSOIL Engine Flush in any motorcycle that has a wet
clutch. The Engine Flush may damage the wet clutch.
