GM DURAMAX DIESEL

Turbocharged engines can clearly benefit from AMSOIL Synthetic Motor Oil. Engine oil that passes through a turbo gets a real thrashing. During its quick trip through the center housing, oil can take on as much as 80 plus degrees in temporary heat before it's returned to the sump. Considering that the best oil coolers can remove only 20 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit of total engine oil heat, and that during hard running the engine is making its own heat; it doesn't take a genius to figure out that we soon have oil that is approaching a very high temperature. It's known that oil can reach upwards of 260 degrees Fahrenheit in most sumps during hot weather and when you consider that 80 degrees Fahrenheit of turbo heat is added constantly, it may not be long before the oil starts forming coke and varnish in the turbo housing and oil passages.

AMSOIL Synthetic will not form coke or varnish in your engine. Synthetic oil was originally engineered for jet aircraft turbine engines to handle high heat and extreme cold. AMSOIL is engineered for gas and diesel engines for same reason as well as extreme pressure and long oil life. When highway driving with AMSOIL, you may travel 15,000 to 20,000 miles or longer between oil changes. AMSOIL recommends oil analysis testing for diesel engines because of fuel dilution. Gas engine oil is guaranteed for 25,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first. What you get when you use AMSOIL is better fuel efficiency, less maintenance, and much longer engine life. AMSOIL exceeds all API ratings and manufacturers specifications.

Do not let anyone tell you AMSOIL is not good for your engine because it is simply untrue. Remember all jet aircraft in the world use synthetic oil.

Don’t you think your diesel engine is worth the best oil money can buy?
